Steamed Cassava Cake/Tapioca Kueh 简易蒸木薯糕

这个金黄色的木薯糕,有没有诱惑到你呢?
特别谢谢这位美女,不但介绍食谱还给了我她家乡带来的黄木薯,
我才有机会品尝到这个美味的糕点。
Yellow cassava/topioca is perfect for making cake!
 I love the natural golden yellow colour and taste. 
Only with an easy recipe it turned out to be great and absolutely to die for.
Thanks to a blogger friend who gave me this yellow cassava and 
also thank you for Mui Mui's lovely recipe.
Steamed Cassava Cake/Tapioca Kueh 蒸木薯糕
(Recipe source : adapted from Mui Mui @ My Little Favourite DIY with minor changes)
Makes a 6" round cake tin


Ingredients:
550g tapioca, shredded
150ml thick coconut milk
150g castor sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp tapioca flour

Method:
  1. Combine shredded tapioca, sugar, coconut milk and tapioca flour together and mix well.
  2. Pour batter into tin (brush tin with cooking oil).
  3.  Steam over high heat for 25 minutes.
Enjoy!

  6. i love this kueh! i'm so ashamed of myself. i'd been wanting to make this but i haven't come to doing it probably because of shredding of tapioca... ashamed ashamed.... i will have to admire yours in total shame

    Pai say i came late again!!
    This is my favourite too. You are right, the yellow tapioca is always hard to find.
    Its been a long time i have not make this kueh. Recently i got a friend who make this kueh by adding some butter and cream cheese in the kueh. She told me it is even more tasty :D But i think i prefer the original one :p
