I came to know Baba Low's 486 restaurant from Yen@Eat your heart out's blog recently and was so eagerly to try it out. Baba Low's 486 is located within Bangsar residential area which is not easy to discover without any recommendation.  The nyonya food here is generally fantastic with very reasonable price. If you're a nyonya food lover, you should not miss this one out!
Cendol (煎蕊) RM4.50
Must try # 1 - Nyonya Laksa (娘惹叻沙) RM6.50
  Must try # 2 - Mee Siam (米暹)RM5.50
Pai Tee RM5.50
 Popiah Peranakan (薄饼)
Must try # 3 -  Mee Goreng Nyonya (娘惹炒面) RM7.00
We love this mee goreng nyonya so much . You need to take it with the chilli to bring out the best out of the noodle (it's not that spicy anyway). The taste is flavourful .
看似简单的炒面,捞上店家特制的辣椒酱,香味四溢,美味十足。
Operating hours : 7am to 10pm daily.

Location: Baba Low's 486, 11 Lorong Kurau, 59100 Bangsar Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

  1. Hi Esther,
You fried this tofu dish like those in the high class restaurant! Even your carrot looking so sweet and making this dish so inviting and appetizing. In fact, I love everything in this dish, the broccoli, the carrot, tofu and mushroom ~ I think I don't need extra dish to accompany for my rice.

  9. One at a time, ok. Love your tofu dish & the floral-shape carrots look so pretty too! I've told Yen that I'm going to try this Nyonya restaurant when I go back next time. The popiah & the pai tee look simply drooling! To tell you a secret, the 1st time I had pai tee was last year when I had holidays in Singapore, haha! I thought you are from Sarawak, hehe!
