After seeing this pandan butter cake recipe from a chinese blogger, it reminds me that I should bake one for my hubby (usually I try to avoid making any buttery cake >.<)
Butter cake is his favorite cake and he was very happy to have it yesterday ^-^
Even though pandan butter cake is a simple traditional cake but you are advised to use homemade pandan paste and good quality butter for better taste, moist and fragrant aroma.

Pandan Butter Cake (班兰牛油蛋糕)
Ingredients :
90g salted butter
40g sugar
1 egg (A)
30g homemade pandan paste
10g milk
110g self-raising flour
1tsp baking power
Method :
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time.
3. Add in sifted flour, pandan paste and milk, mix well.
5. Pour cake batter into cake tin.

6. Bake in pre-heated oven at 170C for 40-45mins or skewer came out clean.
